Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and direct sunlight, and avoid rubbing against light-colored surfaces as color transfer may occur.

This piece is made of waxed cotton with a special waxed finish. Variations in colour, sheen, texture, creases and surface marks are natural characteristics of the fabric and are not defects. With wear, creases and rubbing, the finish can change, developing a lived-in, unique look.
Because the wax stays alive in the fabric, a mark can be evened out with gentle, indirect heat: never in contact with the fabric, and never near a direct flame. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat sources and sunlight, and rubbing against light-coloured surfaces, as colour could transfer.
